do I start the process of exchanging?
After you receive your membership card, you can then begin to
use the services of Interval
International.
What is the difference between deposit first and request
first methods of exchanging?
Deposit first means you are going to request a travel date after
your week which requires you to deposit your week first. Request first means
you are planning to request a travel date before your week, which would allow
you to place a request without giving up usage of your week. If
Interval International is unable to confirm your request you would get
your week back under the Request First method of exchanging.
What is the difference between regular deposit and late
deposit?
A regular deposit where you have deposited your week more than
60 days prior to your week and late deposit is when you have deposited your
week 59 days to 2 weeks before.
How does each type of deposit affect my future exchanges?
A regular deposit allows you to place a request up to 2
years in advance but with a late deposit you can only call at the earliest, 60
days prior to the travel date to see what is available.
If I want to travel back to my home resort at a different
time than the week I own does the resort provide this service?
All exchanges, even those back to your home resort, are done
through Interval
International.
How
does the Getaway Program through
Interval International work?
These are weeks that are available to rent and you would call
the Getaway Department at Interval
International 60 days to 24 hours prior to travel to see what is
currently available.
I do not want to use my week this year but wish to rent, how
do I do this?
Simply, call the Reservations Dept. at
800.513.2820. Any Reservations Agent will be happy to discuss with you how the
rental program works.
How much rental income can I expect and can I request the
amount I am willing to rent it for?
There is no way to determine the amount of rental income as the
nightly rate is determined by the source of the reservation and the rental
agency cannot be bound by an owners specific request.
If my unit is rented when can I expect funds?
Approximately 90 days from the date of your week.
If I need additional nights, or I want to spend a weekend or
a week can this be done through the resort?
Absolutely! Contact the Reservations Dept. at 800.513.2820 for
availability and the discounted owner rates.
I intend to use my week at the Resort what to I need to do?
Each year you will receive a card from the Resort asking what
your plans will be for the upcoming year. Just mark that portion of the card
which indicates you will be arriving. This card is in two parts, you retain the
upper portion as your confirmation.
What
services can I expect from the resort?
We have a guest services department that sells discounted
tickets to most area attractions, rental cars, transportation, babysitting and
almost anything you would need to enjoy your stay in Florida.
What amenities are available?
Within our resort, there
are 2 pools, 13 tennis courts, 1 basketball court, a
complete fitness center & exercise areas, the Celebrity Day Spa, Chillie Hillie's Snack Shack, golf range
& putting green, water sport rentals, planned activities for all ages, pool
snack bar and many other fun things to do on property during your stay with us.
Do you have cribs and highchairs available?
Yes, on the card you receive regarding your plans, there is a
place to mark to request either or both.
